ATI Radeon HD5870
This, my friend, is a graphic processing unit (GPU) that's currently the fastest single-GPU graphics card you can purchase today for the price of Rm1300+. Packed with some 2150 million transistors and produced on a 40nm processor, ATI claimed the new HD5000 series is twice the performance more than it's previous generations HD4000. With more Direct X 11-capable games hitting the market, this 'baby' is the first to be able to support to desktops!
ATI's once again proven that it can compete with it's nemesis, Nvidia with claims as you can see in this picture.
Now, a closer look into the features and design of this GPU.

This AMD's new Cypress GPU, it comes with a whopping 2154 million transistors and is produced on a 40 nm process at TSMC Taiwan. The Cypress die size is 334 mm².

Inside the cooler you find a fan and a large heatsink, which is connected to the baseplate using four heat pipes.
Just take a look at the complexity of this card stripped apart!Performance!

This chart shows the performance based on how effective this card performs on all resolutions.
If you intend to watch HD movies and play heavy graphics games, this card won't let you down for sure. Speaking of which, this display interface includes one HDMI and one DisplayPort connection, just in case your monitor doesn't do DVI.
Well this may not be the best place to show but this is a screenshot of a game utilising the raw power of HD5870. Just look at the details and clarity this card performs.

Just look at the details and clarity this card performs. The Radeon HD 5870 are tested on a high end graphics game, Crysis Warhead and had an average frame rate of 29fps at 2560x1600, which is topped only by the dual-GPU GeForce GTX 295 with 38fps, 24% slower than Nvidia's GTX 295. But hey, it's a single-GPU versus a dual-GPU and only lacks 9 FPS. That ain't so bad if u count in the power consumption and value buy factor between these 2 cards.
In conclusion,
ATI Radeon HD5870 has proven to be a real winner in terms of performance per dollar, superb power efficient and low temperature.
